Was the judge right to bar the Justice Department from pressuring election officials across the country before the midterms?

A federal judge issued a sweeping emergency order halting a Justice Department pressure campaign against election officials nationwide ahead of the 2026 midterms, and the 9th Circuit again refused to let the administration set aside 20,000 California ballots.

To those voting "No" I'd suggest they read the Constitution: "The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators." Article I, Section 4, Clause 1.
