Year three of the big feature on iPhone being Apple Intelligence, a marketing term for a cool demo they did that did not end up being a functional product feature. At least this year they did ship a product of sorts . It doesn't work but they did at least ship something. The funny thing is it is still hardware, OS, and integration wise the best Phone out there. Apple just seems confused on how to sell that

Agree it's still my phone of choice. I do wish they'd be a bit more aggressive / less conservative in pushing AI features. There's so much potential there, and Apple is probably the company I trust most to provide them (with Google a close second).

Not yet, but they're falling behind on AI, for sure. The new capabilities now becoming available from apps like Muse, Dot, Instinct and others should be a natural fit for Apple and the iPhone, but they're not yet there. This is an area where Apple's privacy-first approach may hold them back. AI gets more useful the more it knows about us, yet Apple has built its brand around limiting access to that information. Will be interesting to see how they reconcile those two.
